History and Classical Studies Course Lecturer in East Asian History

The Department of History and Classical Studies, McGill University is looking for a Course Lecturer to teach two courses in East Asian History in Winter 2015 :

  • HIST 338 (Twentieth-Century China)
  • HIST 445 (Late Imperial China)

The remuneration for each history course will be $7200 (including vacation pay)


Please submit a letter of interest addressed to Prof. Elizabeth Elbourne, one letter of reference, a curriculum vitae, a letter of support from your supervisor, if applicable (applications from PhD students or Postdoctoral Fellows), and a syllabus if a similar course has been taught by an applicant. Also, teaching evaluations from one course - either as a course lecturer or as a teaching assistant - should also be submitted.
